Mork's Discovery

Description

More fun with my new KidRobot Meg, only this time I got a better location (the front hall of my house). Hey, better a coat rack in the background than a pigsty. Anyway, I think the concept here is clear (and funny). My Mork figure's already got height compatibility problems with Mezco Meg, but I think crack!romantic scenarios with this one are totally out of the question here. :P

If you're wondering about the blurriness on this one, it's because I was literally holding Mork and the camera at the same time, and as you can imagine it took a while for me to get it to look even halfway like I wanted it to. Yes, it was a lot of work, but it's simply because I don't want the rest of my family putting their grubby little mitts on my camera and definitely not on my figures. They are rare and I bought them with my own damn money. They belong to me and me alone.

As of now, KidRobot Meg sits alone on one section of my shelf, glaring at me with a Daria-esque look of disdain. Maybe she's wondering "How come big Meg gets a Mork to be next to and I don't?". Well, there are some old, rare, smaller Mork figures on eBay, but they're very expensive and in this economy, with my monetary situation, I can't just go throwing away money on crack. Crack pairings, that is. And there's no such thing as free eBasing. (Okay, I'll stop the drug puns, I promise). Yes, for now fun-sized Mork/Meg will have to wait.

Meg figure by KidRobot of course. And the Mork figure was made by Mattel (back in the far-gone year of 1978, when kids loved Robin Williams dagnabbit! GET OFF MY LAWN!)

I used to have both the small and large size Mork action figures. Cute pic!
